What one session in the arena reveals about a team
In a meeting room everyone knows the right answer. Inside the arena they don't: it's loud, you lose sight of the person next to you, and somebody has to decide in two seconds. That's when it shows up on its own — who gives direction without raising their voice, who calls out what they see, who waits to be told, and who drags the rest into trouble trying to go first.
No flip charts, no talking about your feelings in front of the boss. Co-op modes reward the team that communicates; PvP shows how people behave when they're losing. Both say plenty — and afterwards, coffee in hand, the conversation runs differently.
Formats we're preparing for companies
Friday after office, end-of-year party, welcoming a new team, a project kickoff, or a reward for the department that hit its target. The session is short and intense: enough for a couple of hours out with nobody checking the clock or sitting alone in a corner.
We're also planning tournament formats — departments competing on the arena leaderboard with a final — for larger companies that want more than a night out. Exact setups, number of rounds and group terms will be confirmed before we open.
A corporate event that isn't the usual one, 7 minutes from Shopping del Sol
In Asunción the company event usually ends up being the same room with a projector, or the same asado at somebody's quinta. VR.one is meant to be the other option: in Ycuá Satí, 7 minutes from Shopping del Sol, with a café area for the people who'd rather talk while the other group is inside playing.
The arena is still under construction. There's no announced opening date and no published prices, so we're not going to promise you a December party we can't guarantee yet. What we can do is tell you first: companies on the waitlist will get booking priority and an opening perk.
FAQ
Can I book my company's end-of-year event now?
Not yet. The arena is under construction and we don't have a confirmed opening date, so we're not taking bookings or deposits. Leave your company's contact on the waitlist and we'll write to you as soon as dates can be scheduled.
How much is it for a group of 25 people?
We haven't published prices yet, because we don't want to give you a number that changes later. Corporate rates and group packages will be confirmed before we open, and the waitlist hears first.
How many play at once, and can we have the arena to ourselves?
Up to 8 players per arena in the same round, and yes — taking the arena privately for a closed group is part of the plan. Larger teams rotate through rounds while the rest wait in the café area, which works well for a company of 20, 30 or more in a single afternoon. Exact capacity and time slots will be confirmed before opening.
My team has never used VR. Will they manage?
Yes. There's a short briefing before every session and trained staff on the floor, and the experience is designed for ages 6 and up — the learning curve is minutes, not days. If the headset doesn't agree with someone, they take it off and that's that. Nobody is pushed to keep going.
Do we need sports clothes or anything special?
No. Comfortable office clothes and closed shoes are enough — no bag, no changing room, no shower afterwards. Gear is sanitized between rounds.
