VR birthday parties in Asunción

We're building a free-roam virtual reality arena in Ycuá Satí where you'll be able to throw a birthday party with no bouncy castle, no hired entertainer and nobody sitting it out. We haven't opened yet — for now, there's the waitlist.

Free-roam, no cables

The group physically walks around the arena — no wires trailing behind, no controller in front of a screen.

Up to 8 players

Up to 8 people go into the same world together, so the birthday kid plays with friends instead of taking turns.

From age 6

Built so kids from 6 can play, and so can the older cousins, the uncles and the parents.

A host with the group

Someone from VR.one runs the briefing before you go in, sets up the teams and stays with the group the whole session.

Café area for the cake

There'll be a separate space outside the arena for cake, photos and a breather between rounds.

Sanitised gear

Every headset and controller is cleaned between sessions, no exceptions.

How a birthday party at VR.one will work

The plan is simple. The group arrives, drops their bags, and before entering the arena there's a short briefing: how to wear the headset, how to move in the space, what to do if someone wants to step out. Then the free-roam session starts — no cables, full-body tracking, up to 8 players inside the same world, seeing and hearing each other the whole time.

After the session comes the calm part: the café area for cake, photos and the inevitable "you won't believe what happened in there". Between sessions we sanitise the gear, so the next group gets everything clean.

What parents won't have to organise

A party at a salón or pelotero in Asunción comes with a long checklist: decorations, an entertainer, games, sound, and someone watching that nobody gets hurt. Here the experience is the entertainment — the game starts on its own, the host stays with the group from start to finish, and the kids leave genuinely tired instead of running around the car park.

It also solves the age problem. At a ball pit the 12-year-olds are bored in ten minutes; in VR they're as hooked as the 7-year-olds, and the adults who came "just to supervise" end up asking for a slot. We're still putting the birthday packages together — exact duration, food and decorations will be confirmed before we open.

Where we'll be: Ycuá Satí, Asunción

The arena is under construction in Ycuá Satí, 7 minutes from Shopping del Sol, so getting there from Villa Morra, Mburucuyá, Recoleta or Santa Teresa is quick and there's parking nearby. It's a convenient spot in Asunción for pulling together families coming from different neighbourhoods.

We haven't opened and we haven't published prices — we'd rather not quote a number that changes later. Once we have an opening date and an open calendar, the waitlist hears first, picks day and time before everyone else, and gets the opening perk.

FAQ

What's the minimum age?

From 6 years old. Headsets and tracking adjust to smaller players, and every session starts with a briefing so kids know what to do inside. With the youngest ones we always recommend an adult stays nearby.

How many kids fit in the arena?

Up to 8 players at the same time. For bigger groups the idea is to run rounds while the rest wait in the café area, but the exact format will be confirmed before we open.

How much does a birthday party cost?

We haven't published prices yet — the arena is still being built and we don't want to quote a figure that changes. Everyone on the waitlist will get the birthday packages and pricing first.

Can we bring our own cake and food?

That's the plan: there'll be a café area for the cake, separate from the arena (no food or drink inside). The details on outside catering will be confirmed before opening.

Can I book a date for my kid's birthday now?

Not yet — we're still under construction and the calendar isn't open. What you can do today is leave your contact on the waitlist; when bookings open, that list hears first.
