Why free-roam esports isn't the same as sitting at a PC

In traditional esports your body barely plays: you compete with your hands and your head, sitting in a chair. In free-roam the arena is physical. You actually move through the space, crouch behind cover, turn to watch your teammate's back, and full-body tracking carries that movement into the game with no cable tying you to a machine.

That changes the competition. Aim still matters, but so does face-to-face voice comms, reading a real map, and how your squad is holding up by the end of the round. It's a different discipline, and very few people in Asunción have played it yet. When we open, you can be among the first to test yourself properly.

Competitive formats we're building

The calendar is being built around three things: squad versus squad with up to 8 players in the same arena, co-op wave challenges where the team score goes onto the table, and themed nights run as brackets. The leaderboard will be on screen inside the venue, so your team's result doesn't disappear into a spreadsheet.

The exact roster of competitive titles, round length and season rules will be confirmed before opening, once we finish testing the gear in the finished arena. We'd rather not promise a format and then change it.

A venue for tournaments, leagues and private nights in Asunción

If you organize tournaments, leagues or gaming events, the arena will be available to book in full blocks: your format, your branding, your audience. We're also preparing a streaming option so matches can be recorded or go out live; the technical details will be locked in before we open.

We're in Ycuá Satí, 7 minutes from Shopping del Sol, with a café area so spectators and teams waiting for their slot have somewhere to sit. A short briefing runs before every session, and the gear is sanitized between turns.
