Facing each other vs. standing side by side
Dinner is fine, but it's two hours looking at each other across a tablecloth, hunting for something to talk about. A free-roam session is the opposite: headsets on, both of you walking through the same real space — cable-free, full-body tracked — on the same side of one mission. You call out what you see, they cover what you don't. You end up coordinating without noticing.
It's the kind of plan that breaks the ice on its own. If you've just met, there are no strange pauses, because there's always something to do. And if you've been together for years, it works just as well — it pulls you both out of the usual script.
You really don't need to be a gamer
Most couples who'll come through the door don't play video games, and that's exactly the point. Before every session we run a short briefing: how the headset sits, how you move, what to do if something feels off. A few minutes later you're inside. No odd controls, no button combos to memorise — you walk, you look, you grab.
Comfortable clothes and closed shoes are all you need. The tracking is full-body, so you'll actually be moving. Gear is sanitised between sessions, so the headset you get has already been cleaned.
After the session, and the rest of the night
When the game ends, nobody heads straight for the car — that's what the café zone is for. It's usually the best part of the date: the "I can't believe you did that" round, while the laughing is still fresh.
We're in Ycuá Satí, seven minutes from Shopping del Sol, so if the night keeps going, it keeps going nearby: dinner, a movie, or an early night home. Your call.
FAQ
Can I book for this weekend?
Not yet. The arena is still under construction and we haven't opened. People on the waitlist hear the opening date first and get priority when booking starts.
How much will a date for two cost?
We haven't published prices yet. We'll confirm them before opening and announce them to the waitlist first, which also gets an opening perk.
I've never used a VR headset. Will I feel sick?
Some people are more sensitive than others, so honestly: it can happen. That's why there's a briefing before you start and you can stop whenever you want. Free-roam usually sits better than seated VR, precisely because your body is really moving.
Will it be just the two of us, or mixed with strangers?
The arena holds up to 8 players. How shared and private sessions will be organised is still being defined — we'll confirm it before we open.
What should I wear?
Comfortable clothes and closed shoes. Skip the heels: you'll be walking, turning and ducking for real inside the arena.
