The holiday for the Battle of Boquerón, which falls on Tuesday, September 29 this year, moves to Monday the 28th. The Executive set it with Decree No. 6601, signed on August 20 under Law No. 7544/2025.
The result is a long weekend from Saturday, September 26 to Monday, September 28. Tuesday the 29th is a regular working day.

The move applies to both the public and private sectors. Services considered essential are exempt, such as emergency care and dialysis, along with officials tied to essential community services, foreign trade and tax collection.
